You can adjust the values of certain digital sound field parameters so the sound fields are recreated accurately in your
listening room. Not all of the following parameters are found in every program.
DSP LEVEL
(DSP level)
Function:
Adjusts the level of all the DSP effect sounds within a nan'ow range.
Description:
Depending on the acoustics of your listening room, you may want to increase or decrease the DSP
effect level relative to the level of the direct sound.
Control range:
6 dB to +3 dB

The smaller
the value, the closer the sound source

Function:
Bypasses this unit's decoders and DSP processors for pure high fidelity sound when playing 2-channel
analog sources. The AUTO setting is effective only when BASS and TREBLE are set to 0 dB.
Choices:
AUTO, OFF
• When mnlti-chamlel
signals (Dolby Digital and DTS) are inpm, they are dowlmlixed to 2 chamlels and output from the front left and
right speakers•
• When "BASS OUT" is set to BOTH, or "FRONT SP" set to SML and "BASS OUT" set to S\,_TR. front left and right speaker low-
frequency signals are redirected to the subwoofer.
