9.3 Using the S7-1500 as an OPC UA server
The URLs are structured as follows:
● Protocol identifier "opc.tcp://"
● IP address
– 192.168.178.151
– 192.168.1.1
● TCP Port number
– Default: 4840 (standard port)
Dynamic IP addresses
In the example below, the IP address for the PROFINET interface [X2] has not yet been
specified.

The IP address of this PROFINET interface is set later on the device, e.g. via the display of
the CPU.

subnet 192.168.178.

The port number can be changed under "OPC > UA > Server > Port".
