9.7 Battery warning messages

The electronic door handle issues battery warning messages in good time
before the batteries are drained.
Battery discharged (warning threshold reached)
3x (200 ms signal and red LED, 200 ms pause, 750 ms signal and red LED,
200 ms pause). (Signal also with automatic permanent release switching).
The signal is generated if the discharged state of the batteries makes a
replacement necessary.
Replace batteries (see 11.2 Replacing the battery).
Battery completely discharged (engaging no longer possible)
5 s constant tone and red LED
Any activated permanent release is deactivated (EEPROM) and the door
fitting is disengaged (signal also with automatic permanent release
switching).
If the status message "Battery discharged" is ignored by the user, a 5  s
continuous tone is output when the batteries are about to discharge
completely.
Replace batteries (see 11.2 Replacing the battery).

Note!
Once the battery has drained completely, the electronic
door fitting may only be actuated again following a
battery replacement. The electronic door handle does
not have a power adapter function (see 11.2 Replacing
the battery).
