4.1) Thorough cleaning

Dust, sand and dirt are a danger for any hydraulic device.
Every day, after use, the tool must be wiped with a clean cloth taking care to remove any residue,
especially close to moveable parts.
4.2) Storage
When not in use, the tool should be stored and transported in the plastic case to prevent damage.
The case is suitable for storing the tool and accessories.
Plastic case: VAL P43, size 502x380x137 mm (19.8x15x5.4 inches) weighs 2,6 kg. (5.7 lbs).

4.3) Blade replacement

After extended use, the blades may loose their
cutting edge.
Replace the blades as follows:
– Remove the die set from the tool, operate
the tool to advance the blade (13) until the
split pin (5) in the ram (16) is accessible.
– Use a suitable drift to remove the split pin
(5) and release the blade (13).
– Note the orientation of the blade (13).
Remove the blade and fi t the replacement.
Fit the split pin (5) and release the oil pressure.

5. RETURN TO Cembre FOR OVERHAUL

In the case of a breakdown contact our Area Agent who will advise you on the problem and give
you the necessary instructions on how to dispatch the tool to our nearest service Centre; if possible,
attach a copy of the Test Certifi cate supplied by Cembre together with the tool or fi ll in and attach
the form available in the "ASSISTANCE" section of the Cembre website.
