Mechanical structure
The control box manages up to 4 adjustment components
based on a command variable, according to freely program-
mable curves.
The control box has 4 three-point control outputs.
The control box has 3 three-point control outputs and one 4-
20 mA output.
The control box has a Sub-D 25-pole connector with serial in-
terface for the remote control and display via PC (Windows
software provided separately).
Connections for Interbus-S, Profibus-DP CANopen, TCP/IP
(Modbus TCP) and Modbus available as an optional.
Other BUS systems on request.
The connection of other system components, e.g.. Fault alert
system, O adjustment, takes place via LAMTEC Bus system
interface with a Sub-D 9 pole connector.
The control box continuously monitors its operations and
those of the adjustment components connected.

Installation notes
Check the electric wiring inside the boiler complies with the
national and local safety regulations.
Phase and neutral must not be swapped.
Make certain that strain relief of the connected cables is in
compliance with the relevant standards (e.g. as per DIN EN
60730 and DIN EN 60335).
Ensure that spliced wires cannot get into contact with neigh-
bouring terminals. Use adequate ferrules.
Arrange the HV ignition cables separately, as far as possible
from the control box and the other cables.
The burner manufacturer must protect unused AC 230V ter-
minals with dummy plugs (refer to sections Suppliers of other
accessory items).
When wiring the unit, make sure that AC 230V mains voltage
cables are run strictly separate from extra low-voltage cables
to avoid risks of electrical shock hazard.
