The fireplace must be installed off the
floor to account for the height of the two
pc hearth. Note that the installation with
the Clearview front requires the use of
the 3 pc slip kit. Because there is no skip
riser– just the hearth and the midhearth–
the total height that the firebox must sit
at is 5" from the finished floor to the
base of the fireplace. If the measurement
is greater the unit will sit higher than the
riser, resulting in a gap between the
fireplace and the riser.
