Name a Device

CrewCom devices can be given a 16-character long name and an 8-character short name for display in the various
CrewWare menus and diagrams.
Note: This is a different procedure than editing the RP Profile's name. (See the
and/or the "How to Edit a Profile" video
Change RP Name from the RP:
1. Press and hold the RP Menu button for 2 seconds; then, use the far-right volume knob to scroll and select
Device Settings . Press F2 ( ENT ).
2. Scroll and select Pack Name. Press F2 ( ENT ) to view a list of name options.
3. Scroll to select either Short Name or Long Name and press F2 ( ENT ) to enter edit mode.
4. Use the far left and far right talk buttons to navigate left or right through the characters of the name. Use the
far-right volume knob to navigate up and down to change each character value.
5. Press F2 ( SAVE ). Once saved, the screen will return to the previous menu.
