1.1. Installation

Telephone line, analogue main line or extension of a telephone system
Relay, relay switch power: max. 60 VA/24 W: 0.5A, 120 V~/1A, 24V=
(potential-free output circuits)
Additional power supply; potential-free voltage, e.g. from a Behnke power supply unit
(20-9585, 20-9575)
Direct dial buttons 1 and 2
Connect the telephone line to the screw
terminals marked "Tel." After connecting
the telephone line, the device will be
set-up automatically. During this process,
the device will produce a high-pitched
tone for several seconds.
Wire the relay to hold the open door
function.

Connect the additional 15V power supply,
if necessary. An additional power supply
is not necessary to use the basic func-
tions; only extra features (e.g. illuminated
labels, additional amplifiers or recorded
messages) require an additional power
supply.
