An ink cartridge is empty, or the
wrong brand of ink cartridge is
installed.
An ink cartridge is not installed
correctly.
The print head is not installed.
Click the Change button on the
Maintenance property page, and
then follow the instructions to
replace the ink cartridge.
Press and release the Printer
Control (green) button to center
the print carriage. Open the
printer cover and snap each ink
cartridge into position by
pressing the cartridge down and
into the print head. If this
problem persists:
Remove the print head from the
printer. Remove and reinstall
each cartridge. Be sure to press
each cartridge down and into the
print head.
Install the print head.
