If a module appears dead
If any module or the mainframe appears to be dead after you turn the LINE
switch to the ON position, follow these steps.
If the power light on the mainframe does not light
Check that the power cord is connected.
Check that the LINE voltage selector is set to the correct voltage (115 V or
230 V) for the power source.
The LINE voltage selector switch is located:
on the left-hand side of the HP 70004A display
on the bottom of the HP 70001A mainframe
on the rear panel of the HP 70206A and HP 70205A displays
