ETTING UP THE IERY E FROM THE OPIER OUCH ANEL
Setup is required the first time the Fiery X3eTY2 is turned on after new system software is
loaded. In this initial Setup, you (or the service technician who loads the software) choose the
language for Fiery X3eTY2 copier touch panel menus and messages. If you do not configure a
particular Setup option, the Fiery X3eTY2 uses default settings. Make sure the settings are
appropriate for the printing environment at your site.

Fiery X3eTY2 Setup from the copier touch panel

Setup performed from the copier touch panel configures the Fiery X3eTY2 to communicate
with other devices and manage print jobs sent to it.
Setup provides the following groups of options:
• Server Setup to specify system options
• Network Setup 1 to specify information such as the IP address and Ethernet speed for
network systems that transmit print jobs to the Fiery X3eTY2
• Network Setup 2 to specify information about WINS and Web Services
