Tech note Before you begin The purpose of this tech note is to describe how to replace the old version of an air filter housing in the head with a new air filter housing that is easier to access. Make sure that the following is available before you begin: 2 x P/N 50300524, filter housing with lid (1).

Tech note Removing the filter housing Loosen the two Torx 25 screws (1) that hold the filter housing in place. NOTE! Do this on both sides of the fixture. Figure 4: Removing the screws To open the fan housing, gently lift up the filter housing a few centimeters on both sides.

Tech note To remove the screws from the front, press the screws out of the screw retainers and save all four parts (3) for later use. Figure 7: Removing the screws Removing the fan To remove the fan from the bottom part of the filter housing, remove the two PZ 2 screws (1).

Tech note Fasten the two Torx 25 screws (2) that hold the air filter housing in place. Figure 13: Installing the bottom filter housing Hide away the fan connector (3). Repeat step 1 to 3 to install the second air filter housing.

Tech note Installing the air filter Install the air filter (2) by lowering it into place next to the handle. First, push the air filter up and then, push it in. Figure 16: Installing the air filter Install the front and top part of the new filter housing by lowering it into place next to the handle.
