Firmware Upgrade
You can upgrade the newest firmware on your ABonAir system via USB.
Please follow the steps below:
Newest firmware on your ABonAir system
Preparing to Update the Firmware:
1.
Make sure you have a USB flash drive (Disk-on key) formatted to
FAT32
2.
ABonAir's support will send you an email with a ZIP file named
"abonair_upg.tar.gz"
3.
Copy the file to the USB disk
Note: To avoid a situation in which the system will not receive power
and the upgrade will fail, work with a power supply
To update the firmware of your ABonAir system, follow the
instructions below:
1.
Make sure the Transmitter/ Receiver intended for upgrading is
turned off
2.
Insert the USB flash disk into the designated place in the system,
•
Transmitter - located on the side of the transmitter
•
Receiver - on the side of the side of the receiver
3.
Turn on the system while the USB flash disk is connected
4.
Wait 2 minute for the system boot (red link LED turn on)
Note: Do not disconnect the USB flash disk from the Transmitter/
Receiver until the system establishes the link and starts working
automatically
6.
5.
After the update is completed, remove the USB flash disk
In order for the system to function properly, the Transmitter and
Receiver must upgrade.
