1.1

What is the AB405?

The ABonAir AB405 provides 33 msec latency figure cable to be upgraded to 7 msec, via a SW upgrade license. It has a
52+ db PSNR picture quality for broadcasting professionals.
ABonAir's AB405 wireless video system enables camera teams to transmit video directly from cameras to media centers
or OB trucks wirelessly. Built on a bi-directional radio channel between transmitter and receiver, ABonAir's systems
acknowledge the correct acceptance of each group of pixels, thus providing exceptionally robust and reliable
transmission.
7 Msec Delay (sub frame delay) – For live event coverage and multi-camera production low delay enables the
production of multi-camera and live show without worrying about the delay caused by the simultaneous operation
of different cameras or lip sync.
High-picture Quality – ABonAir's H.264 CODEC technology enables accurate frame encoding at high speeds
and excellent picture quality.
Full resolution support for 1080p60, 1080i, 720p, NTSC, PAL formats and others – To be used with any camera
anywhere in any production.
MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) Antenna Array – The MIMO array enables sending and receiving more
than one data signal simultaneously over the same radio channel by exploiting multipath propagation.
Everything in a Single packed case
The AB405 system is comprised of the following components:
Transmitter – Portable bi-directional radio with per pixel acknowledgement.
Receiver – The portable receiver provides maximum flexibility for fixed setups or a temporary production.
Antennas – 4 Antennas enables MIMO radio communication
