Installing the Receiver Antennas

The kit includes two 5 dBi short antennas and two 9 dBi long antennas. If you purchased other antennas you can use
them too. Higher gain antennas (e.g. 12 dBi antennas) provides more range but may require Antenna tilting to
compensate for elevation differences between the Receiver and Transmitter (in cases where the receiver antennas are
located on a higher location, such as on a high rooftop).
Connect both antennas to the antenna ports. RF coax cable can be used to place the antenna away from the Receiver
(e.g the rooftop of OB-Van). Make sure to use a good quality RF cables (such as LMR-400 type), that are no longer than
30 feet length (10 meters).
