1)
The function numbers are derived from the module number 3 (see Fig. 2/2) and the calculation
4828 + 3 * 64 + x = 5020 + x (x: see tables in section 2.1.4).
2)
Hexadecimal, can be useful with numerical values as an intermediate step for calculating the
binary values

Tab. 2/11: Set the parameters for the MPA pressure sensor via function numbers
2−14
For the MPA pressure sensor in Fig. 2/2, the following para
meters are changed:
1)
Function no.
5020 + 6 = 5026
5020 + 7 = 5027
5020 + 9 = 5029
5020 + 10 = 5030
5020 + 11 = 5031
5020 + 12 = 5032
5020 + 13 = 5033
5020 + 14 = 5034
In this example, the settings for all other parameters remain
at their default values.
In this parameterisation example, the MPA pressure sensor
with the settings from Tab. 2/11 behaves as follows:
Diagnostic message with the red LED v above 9.5 bar.
The red LED v goes out as soon as the pressure sinks
below 9 bar (because the hysteresis is set to 0.5 bar).
Diagnostic message with the red LED V below 6.5 bar
(because the hysteresis is set to 0.5 bar).
The red LED V goes out as soon as the pressure rises
above 7 bar.
