Snorkel MHP14AT Setup Instructions

MHP14AT SNORKEL EWP SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
1. Machine must be un-hooked from towing vehicle-Engage handbrake.
2. Locate and remove travelling locking pin located underneath bottom boom at
front of machine.
3. Start machine using ignition switch located on the bottom control panel on
left-hand side of machine, lift the choke switch whilst turning the key - let go
of both key and choke switch as soon as the motor is running.
4. Locate the 4 stabiliser control levers mounted on the left-hand side of
machine, use these levers to lower the stabilisers to the ground Ensure the
front stabilisers are lowered to the ground first.
5. Operate the four levers to level the machine with the wheels completely off
the ground; a levelling bubble is located on the chassis rail.
6. Once the machine is level check that the Lift Enable light is illuminated on the
bottom control panel, NOTE IMPORTANT- if this light is not illuminated
continue to manipulate the levers until the light is on and the machine is level.
The machine will not work if this light is not illuminated.
7. Ensure that the Ignition switch is on and the emergency stop switch(Large Red
one) is pulled out
8. Locate the Boom-Stabiliser switch and switch to boom (RHS switch).
9. Locate the Platform-Base switch and switch to platform (LHS Switch).
10. The switches must be switched in the above sequence.
11. The machine is ready to be used from the platform control panel.
12. Before entering the platform put the safety harness on ensuring it is fitted
correctly.
13. Once on platform attach safety harness lanyard to the lanyard anchor point at
rear of platform floor.
14. Platform controls will not work unless the platform foot switch is engaged
(putting foot on it.)
