Maintenance and Care

The following maintenance intervals apply to normal usage and operating conditions. If cutting con-
ditions are difficult (very dusty, etc.) or your daily working time is longer than normal, shorten the
specified intervals accordingly.
Complete machine
Throttle trigger, trigger lockout lever, Master
Control
Manual fuel pump (if fitted)
Pickup body (filter) in fuel tank
Fuel tank
Water feed, chain lubrication
Diamond abrasive chain
Guide Bar
Chain sprocket
Air Filter
GS 461
Visual inspection (condition, leaks)
Clean
Check operation
Check

Have repaired by servicing dealer
Check
Replace
Clean
Check
Inspect, also check sharpness
Check chain tension, readjust if necessary; also
check every 15 minutes during operation and
readjust as necessary
Sharpen
Clean and spray with STIHL Multispray
Check (wear, damage, freeness of nose
sprocket)
Clean and spray with STIHL Multispray
Turn over
Deburr
Replace
Check and replace if necessary
Clean
Replace
