8.12 Podcasts

With your DABMAN i500 BT you can not only subscribe to radio stations, but also to
podcasts from all over the world. As you can see, the podcasts in [Countries] are sorted
by continent.
Under [Topics] you can also search for a specific subject.
But you can also - as with the radio stations - search for a podcast you know by entering
its name.

8.13 History

Recently played tracks and recently received radio stations are listed under the menu
item „Last heard". This means that even the stations you thought were lost forever due
to a brief lapse in memory can easily be relocated.

8.14 Music player (UPnP)

UPnP enables the user to receive data from the network. For example, if you have shared
your music collection on your computer via a UPnP programme (e.g. Windows Media
Player 11/12), you can use the DABMAN i500 BT to access it from the living room or
kitchen and play tracks from it. If your music collection is stored centrally on a network
hard disk (NAS), this works even without a computer. Your radio then works as a network
player to directly access the music on the disk.
