Error Codes

If a fault is detected during initialization or while the unit is operating, the following error indications may appear.
The table shows the error codes and their meanings.
If an error indication should appear, follow the directions in the table to remove the cause of the error. If you are
unable to resolve the error, contact your Sony service representative.

048001 Unknown cassette staged, or shipping lock
not removed
04823b Door key sensor fault
04823c Door sensor fault
04823d Projection sensor fault
04823e Eject sensor fault
048240 Bin cassette presence detector fault
048403 SRAM check error
048404 Backup RAM check error
048411 Harness relay board not installed on the
stage
048412 Harness relay board not installed beneath
the frame
048413 Fan is not operating
048420 Power supply fault
048430 NVRAM-CPU fault
048440 IF-CPU board not installed
048441 IF-CPU ROM fault
048442 IF-CPU RAM fault
048443 On-stage foreign material sensor fault
048444 IF board not for the DMS-B9
048445 Check Sum of the IF-CPU does not match
048450 Communications error with Bar Code Reader
048451 Bar Code Reader not initialized
098128 Servo lock error during elevator transport
098138 Door opened during elevator transport
098158 Door opened before elevator transport

098235 Tape streamer does not accept cassette

in the bin designated for a cleaning cassette,
and the tape streamer cannot eject the
cassette.
098237 BIN cassette presence detector faulty
098238 Height sensor does not operate
098239 One side of grip lost
