Indications in the LCD Panel

The following indications may appear either during or
after the operation described on the previous pages.

While the unit is operating normally, the following
indications may appear.

Significance
>Aborting..
The elevator is being parked at the
bottom, ready for the door to open.
>DOOR OPEN!
The door is open.
>DOOR CLOSED
The door is closed.
>Initialize..
The elevator is being initialized.
>IN USE
The unit is ready for use.
>MediaLocked
The door key is switched to the "Open"
position, but unlocking is disabled with
the PREVENT ALLOW MEDIUM
REMOVAL command from the SCSI
set to Prevent.
>SCSI abort..
The host sends the SCSI bus reset by
turning the power ON.

BUSY indicator lights
If a fault is detected while the unit is operating, the
following indications may appear.

Significance
>ERROR:XXXXXX An error has occurred, stopping
operation. (For details of the error
codes, see page 30(E).)
>Init CPU I/F
An SCSI interface error has occurred,
for example because the SCSI
interface is not supplied with
termination power.

X
A warning error has occurred without
stopping operation. (For details of the
warning, see page 31(E).)
X indicates an alphabet or digit.
Removing or Replacing a
Cassette
1
Turn the door key switch to the "Open" position.
The front door opens.
2
Press down the two retainer hooks.
The cassette springs out.
3
Insert a new cassette as required.
