    Software Setup After connecting the SmartPAD(as shown in the Connection Diagram),you will need to configure Ableton Live to recognize it:  Open Ableton Live — SmartPAD Manual Mapping (after connecting).  Go to Options ->Preferences(PC) or Live ->Preferences(MAC).  Select “SmartPAD” as the device for the “Input” and “Output”.
