Squeeze out excess air and seal the bag.
Note
Make sure that the bag is sealed securely.

Roll down the top of the bag. This will make it easier to hold.

Shake the cell vigorously for 1 minute:
Beginning on one side, shake the cell front-to-back and side-to-side for 30
seconds.
Turn the cell over and repeat this process for an additional 30 seconds.

Drain the excess liquid from the cell into the bag:
3.8.a
Hold the bag so that you can lift the cell by the door end and raise it
out of the liquid to drain.

Gently shake the cell to drain as much of the excess liquid as possible.

Remove the cell from the bag and place it on the drying cloth you prepared.

Prepare the bag for disposal:
3.10.a
Pour half of a bottle of Sorbent Powder (20 grams) into the liquid in
the bag.
Within 1 to 2 minutes, the liquid will congeal and become a white
substance resembling snow. It will not become a dry powder.
3.10.b
If after 2 minutes all of the liquid has not changed consistency, pour
additional sorbent, a little at a time, into the bag until it does.
3.10.c
When all the liquid has changed consistency, squeeze out excess air
and seal the bag.
3.11
Dispose of the sealed bag according to pharmacy policy.
