3.4 Installation Clearances

In order for the programmable controller's modules to function properly, air apertures must be
provided in the top and bottom panels of the cubicle and must be equipped with a filter. In
addition to these apertures, sufficient clearances must also be provided between modules, and
between modules and cubicle walls, in the cubicle, as shown below. These clearance values are
rough estimates. To check if the ambient temperatures around the modules are within the
specified range, the user is advised to carry out a test operation and measure the temperatures.
