In order to access the PROM if your controller has a Communications
Board, you must remove the Bezel/Keyboard/Display assembly from the
chassis and access the printed wiring boards.
The procedure in Table 2 lists the steps required to remove the
Bezel/Keyboard/Display assembly.

Step
Remove the two screws on the bottom of the chassis frame that hold

the Bezel/Keyboard/Display assembly in place on the chassis frame.
Refer to Figure 2 for reference.

Lift the two retainers slightly away from the MCU/Input board notch
and the Power/DIO board on the opposite side as shown below.
The Bezel/Keyboard/Display board assembly will come away in one
piece.

Install the PROM supplied in this kit.
See Table 3.
Reinstall the Bezel/Keyboard/Display assembly.

CAUTION Be careful to align the pins on the display board with
the mating connector P9 on the MCU/Input board.

Reattach the bezel assembly to the chassis with the screws
previously removed.
