Catalytic converters
Removing the catalytic converters
The following procedure refers to the removal of the left hand catalytic converter; the procedure for removing
the right hand catalytic converter is the same.
Disconnect the battery (
Remove the central flat undertray section (
Remove the front removable subframe (
Remove the centre silencer (
Removal from the vehicle is not necessary: move as far away as possible from the catalytic converters.

Unscrew the oxygen sensor (1) from the catalytic
converter.
Undo the two nuts (2) fastening the catalytic
converter (B) to the exhaust manifold.
