STEP 6: Install SocketScan Software

1. Make sure the SocketScan Installation CD is still inside your computer.
Use My Computer or Windows Explorer to access your CD-ROM drive.

In the CD, click on SETUP.EXE.
3. Follow the instructions on the host PC screen to install the software for
your Windows version.
In the File Download screen, select the option that lets you OPEN (or

run) the file from its current location.
5. The Setup program will begin. Follow the instructions that appear on
your screen until installation is complete.
6. Restart your computer.
