• Using a screwdriver on the tension adjustment
screw, turn clockwise...
• ...until there is enough play that the chain can be
pulled away from the bar, but not so much that the
runners can be pulled out of the bar.
• Once you have the correct tension, fully tighten the
locking knob.
NOTE: The chain stretches with use. Check and tension often.
!
Never tension a warm chain before storing, as chains shrink
when cool, this can damage chain, bar and saw.
