STARTING AND STOPPING

• Press the safety lock button. Squeeze the trigger switch to start.
• Release the trigger switch to stop.
ADJUSTING POLE SAW HEIGHT
• Rotate the collar counter-clockwise to loosen.
• Remove power head pole from extension pole by pulling up on it.
• Rotate the second collar counter-clockwise to loosen.
• Remove the extension pole from the handle pole by pulling it up.
• Rotate collar clockwise to tighten.
TRANSPORTING THE POLE SAW
• Always switch off the power tool, remove the battery and fit the chain scabbard - even
when you carry the unit for short distances. This avoids the risk of the motor starting
unintentionally.
NOTE: To lock out the trigger, you can pull back the
!
safety lock with your thumb. To unlock the safety lock,
push it forward. When the pole saw is not in use, you
can use the safety lock to prevent activation during
storage or transport.
NOTE:

• Adjust your hand placement on the shaft of the pole saw
to keep proper balance.
• Assemble poles only to the length required to reach
the limb being cut. Do not extend the handle above waist
height.
