7.Powering on the Device

Note:
Before powering on the device, ensure that the device has been installed, cables have been
properly connected, and the external power supply has been connected.Before powering on
the device, ensure that the power voltage of the external power supply is the same as that
required by the device.
7.1 Powering on VCN520
Turn on the power switch of VCN520, as shown in the following figure.
After the device is powered on, you can check the indicator status on the front panel of the device
to know the device running status and determine whether each system module is running properly.

Status Description
Off: The board is not powered on.
Steady on: The system is running properly.
Blinking at a frequency of 0.5 Hz (blinks once every 2s):
The system is being started.
Blinking at a frequency of 1 Hz (blinks once every second):
A component other than the disk is faulty.
Blinking at a frequency of 5 Hz (blinks once every 0.2s):
The disk is faulty.
Steady on: The network port is properly connected.
Off: The network port is improperly connected.
Steady on: The hard disk is properly connected.
Blinking: The hard disk is transmitting data.
Off: The disk cannot be detected, is faulty, not
installed, incorrectly installed, or not powered on.
