Information about the measuring point
Sensor parameters
In the top line of the dialog field you can see the selected operating mode. In the
next four lines you can see information about the measuring point and device
type. In "Specialist" mode you can change all this data. Please note that the entry
in the "TAG No." field is also used as the default setting for saving data in a file.
For this reason you should select a valid MS DOS file name for the TAG number.
Only the TAG number and data shown in the "Parameter" section are stored in
the field device. Each field device is normally given a unique TAG number.
Measurement point data is saved in a file, so you can use the TAG number at a
later point in time to link that data from the field device.
Use the buttons in the screen, or the options in the "Disk" or "Instrument" menu
items, to save changes.
Use the online help function to call up more detailed information about the function
of the individual fields. Move the field selector to the field that you want to know
more about, and then press the [F1] key.
For example, if you press [F1] on the "2-wire lead resistance" field, the system
displays the entire process for balancing two conductors, for PT100.
Entry fields that have an arrow to the right of the field marking are list fields. In
these fields you can only select a value from a pre-defined range. Press the [¯]
key to open the list of values, then select a value with the cursor, and confirm the
selection by pressing [¿].
You can now define all parameters for the sensors that are in use. After entering
the data, save it to the device.
