    INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS INSTALLATION CONSIDERATIONS There are two types of displays to consider when installing the ICC gateway modules to the water heaters, the older type with membrane switches and the newer style with a touch screen. The new touch screen style display does not need the provided RJ-485 splitter and it can be discarded.
