Install RDX Utility
Note: The RDX Utility
installs only on Windows.
• Go to www.Tandbergdata.com.
. • Chose „Support" from the main menu.
• Click on „Drivers and Downloads" at the
right hand side of the page.
• Click the „Go"-Button near RDX QuikStor.
• Choose „RDX_Utility.zip".
• Click on „Download RDX Utility".
• Register and download the RDX Utility.
• Unpack the zip-file, start „setup.exe" and
follow the installation instructions.
• Download and install the lastest Firmware.

Mount the RDX QuikStor
Server
Front
• Power off the computer and open the server cover.
• Slide the RDX QuikStor into the drive opening.
• Secure the dock with the four supplied mounting screws.

Connect Data and Power Cables
USB
• Connect the data cable and the power cable to the back of the
RDX QuikStor. The dock connections are keyed to ensure the
correct
• For SATA interfaces, connect the SATA cable to
your system's SATA controller (built-in or PCI card).
• For USB 3.0 interfaces, connect the USB 3.0 cable to
the PC motherboard or a USB host bus adapter.
• For USB 2.0 interfaces, connect the USB 2.0 cable to
the PC motherboard or the USB host bus adapter. Align
pin 1 on the cable connector with the pin 1 location on
the motherboard. The pin 1 location on the cable
connector is marked with a triangle
RDX QuikStor
Warning: Connecting the USB 2.0 Cable incorrectly to
the PC will result in damage. Verify pin layout on the
motherboard versus the cable connector pin-out
(see diagram). Consult your motherboard manual for the
pin 1 location on the mating USB connector.
• Replace the server cover and turn the computer on.
