    TV in Factory Default State When the TV is in a factory default state, LG’s First Use Wizard provides automated or manual options for configuring the TV’s Pro:Centric server settings. See “First Use Wizard” on pages 12 to 13 for further information.

When the update process is finished, depending on the type of update(s) completed, either the EZ-Manager TV Configuration Options screen will be redisplayed (software and/or boot logo image updates only—see also note below) or the TV will tune according to the Start Channel setting in the Installer Menu (TV configured with Clone/Configuration file).

    Script Welcome screen provides a brief introduction to the Express Script. Express Script Welcome to LG’s Express Script • Use the Express Script to configure the TV for Free-To-Guest (FTG) via CPU operation (including pillow speaker setup). If a Pro:Centric server is installed, the Express Script also enables you to configure the Pro:Centric settings on the TV.

You can select the “Back” button, where available, to chek previous settings, as necessary. Typically, if you do not modify the default settings, the “Next” button is automatically selected when you proceed forward within the Express Script.
  • Page 25 4. Select the pillow speaker code/voltage. If using a Pro:Centric pillow speaker (LG IR codes) or a pillow speaker with Zenith IR codes, you can simply select Next and press OK on the Installer Remote to accept the Zenith pillow speaker code default.

This step gives you the option to initiate an automated channel scan that will search for all available digital and analog channels. Select Run Auto Tuning and press OK on the Installer Remote to start the channel scan.

    Express Script exits, and the TV tunes to the first channel in the FTG Channel Map. Also when the Express Script is complete, the TV is set for Channel Bank 1. If required, you can set up/modify channel banks at a later time using LG’s Cloud Configuration Tool. See “Channel Banks Overview” below for further information.

Note: Channel banks are not supported if Hospital Mode is disabled, i.e., set to 0, or on TVs that are configured for FTG Mode via EBL, EBL-LNT Mode, or MPI-EXT Mode. Channel Attributes and Channel Bank Allocation Three attributes are available for each channel: Encrypted, OSD, and Blank Video.
  • Page 30 Express Script (Cont.) Inactive TV Setup To create an inactive TV display on Channel Bank 4, you need to modify the channel bank allocation for each channel in Channel Bank 4 to DELETED. You can do this in the Express Script, or you can use the Cloud Configuration Tool, as indicated above, to make changes.

    Custom Master TV Setup This section describes how to create a customized Master TV Setup for cloning purposes when the TV is in Pass-through Mode. All cloning (export and import) processes on the TV are performed via USB memory device / “.tlx” file. The Master TV Setup may be exported to a Clone (.tlx) file, which can then be used (i.e., imported) to configure either TVs that are to remain in Pass-through Mode or TVs that are to be configured for FTG Mode via CPU.

The next step depends on whether the First Use Wizard appears on the screen when you turn ON the TV: • If the wizard is displayed, the TV is in the required factory default state. To continue with this procedure, exit the wizard, and then go to step 2.

    Cloning Procedures Cloning typically refers to the process of using a Master TV Setup to configure a Target TV. This section describes how to save (export) a Master TV Setup and then transfer (import) it to a Target TV using a USB memory device / Clone (.tlx) file. You can also create an FTG Configuration (.tlx) file using the Cloud Configuration Tool and then use the Import Clone File procedure to transfer the configuration to Target TVs.

    The following table identifies when and how the LT572M hospital features are supported in three different TV configurations. As indicated in the introduction to this document, LG commercial TV functionality is based on “ownership” of the Channel Map.
