The chafing dishes can be used with the following heat sources:
• Built-in induction/Ceran cooktop in warming mode
• Fuel paste heater (only with a Spring CBS stand)
Please follow the respective directions for use.
4.1
Directions
Danger!
Do not place the CBS near flammable materials during operation.
Caution!
Children and/or persons who do not have enough experience using the equipment or with limited physical,
sensory, or mental capacity may use the equipment only under the supervision of a person responsible
for their safety.
Caution!
The cover has an automatic closing function. At an angle less than 60º, the cover closes automatically.
Please do not force the cover by pressing it manually.
4.2
Cover Position
The cover is equipped with a brake. This allows the cover to be set in 3 positions:
1. Cover is closed.
2. Cover is opened up to the first stop (approx. 60º angle); for removing food and changing inserts. To
close it, you must overcome this resistance manually to allow the cover to close automatically.
3 .Cover is completely open (90º angle); for easy cleaning, the cover can be lifted off. From the completely
open position, press the cover down to the first resistance manually. After this is overcome, the cover
closes automatically.
4.3
Changing the Insert
1. Open the cover.
2. For easier removal of the inserts, raise the lifting arm at the back of the frame. The insert will be raised
slightly. Important: The insert can be very hot and steam may escape.
3. Check the water level every time you change the insert, more often if necessary. Add hot water as
needed.
