9 System settings and other features

All settings explained in this section apply equally to all sources.

9.1 Sleep timer

The sleep timer automatically switches the TECHNIRADIO SOLAR OFF after the set
time.
>
Keep the Menu button pressed and use the Next/Prev. button to select the
item [System]. Press Select.
>
Select the entry [Sleep] with Next/Prev. and press Select.
>
Use Next/Prev. to select a period after which the TECHNIRADIO SOLAR should
switch off. You can choose between Off, 15, 30, 45, 60 and 90 minutes.
>
Press the Select button to apply the setting.
When the sleep timer is active, an "S" appears in the display with the
remaining time until it is switched off. If you want to switch off an active sleep
timer, select Menu > System > Sleep > Off.

9.2 Time and date settings

9.2.1 Manually setting the time/date

Depending on the setting for time updates (Section 9.2.2), the time and date have to
be set manually.
>
Keep the Menu button pressed and use the Next/Prev. button to select the
item [System]. Press Select.
>
Select the entry [Time] with Next/Prev. and press Select.
>
Select the entry [Set date/time] with Next/Prev. and press Select.
>
The first digits (hours) flash and can be changed using the Next/Prev. button.
Next increases the value, Prev. reduces the value.
>
Press the Select button to apply the setting.
>
The next time digits (minutes) start to flash and can again be changed as
described above.
>
Press Select after every other setting in order to go to the next setting.
>
To set the date, proceed in the same way as described above.
>
After all settings have been done and the Select button pressed, [Time
Saved] appears on the display.
