Power Supply Connection ® Access Unit can be powered either from an external 12 V / 2 A DC source or directly from the LAN equipped with PoE 802.3af supporting network elements. Module Power Supply ® Except for the Tamper Switch, all the Access Unit modules are powered from the bus. The available bus power output depends on the power supply type. Basic units 571v3 and higher can use a 3A power supply to increase the bus power available for the modules connected.
