    Power Management A LAN connection can only be completed if the LAN cable is connected to the system BEFORE the power cord is plugged in. Energy Star Compliance Office equipment is generally powered on 24 hours a day, so power management features are important for saving energy and reducing air pollution.

You can select a Standard Impression to print postage, a “Received” Impression to print the date on Incoming Mail, or to seal envelopes without printing a Meter Impression.

    Using the Feeder The instructions below provide details on how to place a stack of mail in the Feeder. Depending on the Weighing Method you choose to run your mail, you may have to insert your envelopes one by one or place a stack of envelopes in the Feeder. Each stack may contain a mix of envelopes of different thicknesses and sizes.
  • Page 41 Adjust the side guide for large envelopes. To adjust the guide, push it gently to rest against the envelopes, without pressing. Envelopes flaps must be closed, not nested. Do not try to seal self-adhesive envelopes. Thickness Setting: Depending on the thickness of your envelopes, you may have to adjust the thickness setting of the Feeder.
