To fix the E6 error message on your iRobot Roomba e6 after cleaning the brushes, follow these steps:

1. Check the Brush Installation – Ensure the brushes are correctly reinstalled. Match the shape of the brush pegs with the brush icons in the cleaning head module.
2. Clean the Brush Caps – Remove the brush caps from the ends of the brushes and clear any hair or debris. Reinstall the caps properly.
3. Clear Debris from Pegs – Remove any hair or debris from the square and hexagonal pegs on the opposite side of the brushes.
4. Clean the Charging Contacts and Sensors – Wipe the sensors and charging contacts with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use water or cleaning solution.
5. Check the Vacuum Path – Remove the bin and clear any obstructions from the vacuum path.
6. Follow Audible Instructions – If the Roomba gives a spoken message or troubleshooting alert, follow the instructions provided.

If the error persists after these steps, try restarting the Roomba or checking for further blockages.
