Connecting Handhelds and Transferring
Files
This chapter describes how to connect one TI-Nspire™ handheld to
another, how to connect handhelds to a computer and how to transfer
files between them.
The TI-Nspire™ handhelds have a USB port that enables connectivity with
another TI-Nspire™ handheld or with a computer.
Note: When using the TI-Nspire™ TI-84 Plus keypad, you can connect
with another TI-Nspire™ handheld using the TI-Nspire™ TI-84 Plus
keypad or a TI-84 Plus using the USB port or the I/O port.

Connecting Handhelds

Using USB Cables
You can use USB cables to connect two TI-Nspire™ handhelds, to connect
a TI-Nspire™ handheld to a computer or to connect one TI-Nspire™
handheld using TI-Nspire™ TI-84 Plus keypad to another.

Connecting Two TI-Nspire™ Handhelds with the Mini-USB
Cable
You can connect two handhelds as long as both handhelds are using the
same keypad. You cannot connect a handheld using the TI-Nspire™ TI-84
Plus keypad to a handheld using the native TI-Nspire™ keypad.
