Replacing AAA Batteries

Caution: When removing the keypad to change AAA batteries, be
certain that the handheld is completely powered down. Removing the
keypad before the display is cleared may result in loss of data.
1. Save any open documents and turn off the handheld.
2. Remove the keypad from the handheld.
3. Carefully remove the batteries.
Caution: You may need to use a
tool to remove the batteries as
they fit tightly in the unit. If using
a tool, be careful not to damage
either the batteries or the
handheld.
4. Insert fresh batteries.
Ensure that the + side of each
battery faces away from the
display screen.
5. Replace the keypad.
Inserting the TI-Nspire™ Rechargeable Battery
If purchased, complete the following steps to insert the TI-Nspire™
Rechargeable Battery into a handheld.
1. Use a small screwdriver to release the panel from the back of the
handheld.
