Calculator Notes for the TI-Nspire
Calculator Note: Histograms
Enter the data set into a list on a Lists and Spreadsheet page. We will use the
data set "weight" that we used in Calculator Note: Entering Lists.
Insert a Data and Statistics page by pressing
/ ~
. Choose Data and
Statistics. You will get a preliminary display of the weight data.
Move your cursor over the phrase "Click to add variable" on the x-axis.
Click on that phrase and you will see a list of possible data sets to use. Choose
"weight. " Press

Press the right cursor key to access the next sub menu. Choose Bin Settings. Type in the Width value and the Alignment value for your histogram. In this case, we are making the width 50 and the alignment to start at 300.
