4. MOUNTING AND CONNECTION

Mounting
<Mounting with screws>
Mount SL-GU1-D using M4 pan-head screws (please arrange separately) with a tightening torque
of 1.17N·m or less.
Further, use spring washers and plain washers to prevent loosening of screws.
<Installation on DIN rail>
Mount the DIN rail adapter (MS-DIN-IDC) (optional) on SL-GU1-D using the M4 screws with
washers, supplied as accessory, with a tightening torque of 1.17N·m or less.
Engage the hooks on the upper part of the adapter onto the DIN rail and press the lower part of
SL-GU1-D to mount it on the DIN rail. To dismantle, pull down the stopper on the lower part of the
adapter with a screwdriver, etc.

<Cautions of mounting>
If this product is enclosed in a control box with the other units,
the ambient temperature may exceed the rated temperature
range from heat radiated from the units.
In this case, make sure that the temperature doesn't exceed the
rated temperature range by using a cooling fun etc.
If two, or more, S-LINK gateway controllers are placed close to
each other, make sure to space them at least 10mm apart.
