Contactless voltage detector
1. Set the rotary switch to the NCV - Position
2. Before using the device, make sure that test leads and the device are in
good condition and the device is working properly (e.g. by connecting to
known voltage sources).
3. Hold the upper part of the instrument as close as possible to the power
source.
4. If a voltage is applied, the red LED lights on top of the screen.
RANGE Function
By pressing the "RANGE"-button you can select the range manually:. Press
RANGE as often as needed to get to the desired range. To deactivate this
function press and hold RANGE.
HOLD Function
If the reading could not be read during measurement due to difficult operation
the „HOLD"-button could be pressed to freeze the display reading.
1. Press the „HOLD"-button to freeze the display reading.
2. The display shows the „HOLD"-symbol to indicate the activated HOLD
function.
3. Press the „HOLD"-button again to return to standard operation.
