Quick Manual: Converting P-3002D to P-3002DL
The Modular Post System installed on Demon Drive Pedals enables you
to convert your P-3002D "right-footed" Double Pedal to a P-3002DL "left-
footed" Double Pedal. Follow the conversion instructions below and also
read the included
functions of your pedal.

1) Disconnect the Direct Link Connecting Bar from
the Direct Link Connecting Bracket by removing
the Key Bolt using the provided Multi-Function
Drum Key.

  • Page 1 Quick Manual: Converting P-3002D to P-3002DL The Modular Post System installed on Demon Drive Pedals enables you to convert your P-3002D "right-footed" Double Pedal to a P-3002DL "left- footed" Double Pedal. Follow the conversion instructions below and also read the included Instruction Manual to thoroughly understand the functions of your pedal.
  • Page 2 2) Loosen the two Allen screws on the Direct Link Loosen the two Allen Screws Connecting Bracket with the provided Allen wrench. Direct Link Connecting Bracket Pull the bracket off from the Hexagonal Axle Shaft Hexagonal Axle Shaft as shown. 3) Turn the pedal over and remove the four Flat Head Screws under the Post with the provided Allen wrench and detach the Post.
  • Page 3 4) Reattach the Post to the left side of the pedal. Post Direct Link Connecting Bracket Rettach the Direct Link Connecting Bracket onto the Hexagonal Axle Shaft as shown. Hexagonal Axle Shaft *Make sure that the top part of the Bracket is parallel with the flat end of the Hexagonal Axle Shaft as shown.
  • Page 4 5) Reconnect the Direct Link Connecting Bracket to the Direct Link Connecting Bar with the Key Bolt. Your Sub Pedal is now ready. MAIN PEDAL Beater Holder Link 6) Unscrew the Key Bolts on both Beater Holder Links using the provided Multi-Function Drum Key and remove the Beater Holder Links from the Axle Shafts.
  • Page 5 7) Disconnect the Direct Link Connecting Bar from the Direct Link Connecting Bracket by removing the Key Bolt using the provided Multi-Function Drum Key per instruction in Step 1. Detach Post "A" per instruction in Step 3. Direct Link Connecting Bracket 8) Disconnect the Direct Link Connecting Bracket from Post "B"...
  • Page 6 Direct Link 10) Reattach the Direct Link Connecting Bracket Connecting Bracket to the Axle Shaft of Post "B". Refer to Step 4 for proper assembly. Axle Shaft Direct Link Reconnect the Direct Link Connecting Bracket to Connecting Bracket the Direct Link Connecting Bar with the Key Bolt. Direct Link Connecting Bar 11) Reattach Post "A"...
  • Page 7 Remove Key Bolt & Nut 12) Remove the Key Bolt and Nut from the Uni- Lock Footboard Angle Cam on both posts. Reinstall them so the head of the Key Bolt is facing the player as shown. Reinstall Key Bolt & Nut Connect the Z-Link Drive Shaft and sub pedal to the main pedal, install the beaters and you're ready to play.
