Roller sets
The reactions forces acting on the roller sets of the BSA 7xxx / 8xxx on braking are measured, recorded, and
evaluated by sensors and sent to the software via the field bus system (Bnet).

Functions
Transmit their rotating motion via friction to the wheel being tested. The test rollers have a plastic/
corundum coating in the standard version. Due to the very high coefficient of friction, high braking
forces are transmitted even with a low axle load.
Each pair of rollers is driven by an electric motor. Power is transmitted between the test rollers on
each side by way of a chain drive.
The working pit is below the level of the workshop bay; work on the underside of the vehicle is
carried out here.
Monitors the running of the wheel (slip check) and the wheel position and thus implements the
switching and safety function of the tester. A foot guard is provided beneath the slip rollers.
