The side brushes sweep dirt from the edges of fl oors and from corners, and direct it to the centre of the
sweeper where it can be picked up by the main brush.

Adjusting the side brushes

The side brushes should just touch the fl oor, leaving a "T" trace. As the bristles of the side brush wear down,
adjust the height of the brush from the fl oor to maintain this trace.
Loosen the screws 1 and move it up or down through the slotted hole to adjust the trace.
Tighten the screws when the adjusting is completed.

Replacing the side brushes

Remove the four bolts 2, which fi x the brushes to the hub, and remove the old brushes.
Fit the new brushes and adjust it.

Caution!
when the motor-sweeper is at rest, the side brushes must always be lifted above the
ground to avoid deformations (bending of the brush's bristles).
The main brush sweeps dust and refuse into the bin
at the rear of the motor-sweeper.

Caution!
Never sweep up string, wire, etc., which can
become entangled in the brush and damage
the bristles.

Adjusting the main brush

The main brush should just touch the fl oor, leaving a "A" trace 4-5 cm wide when it rotates.
If the main brush is worn or leaves lines of dirt, adjust it with the properly screw.
Loosen the screw 1 and move it up or down through the slotted hole 2 to adjust the trace.
Tighten the screw when the adjusting is completed.

Replacing the main brush

The main brush can be removed from the left side of the motor-sweeper. Proceed as follows to remove and
replace the main brush:
Remove the brush inspection hatch 3.
Remove fl ap and transparent protection 4.
Untighten the screw 5.
Disconnect the drive lever and roller 6.
Remove the brush 7.
Fit the main brush and centre the notches with the fi ns on the right-hand side drive support.
Fit the assembly 6 on the brush; the holes 8 must mate with the studs 9.
Tighten the screw 5 until the drive support engages with the brush.

Caution!
Whenever the main brush is removed, remember to adjust the position of the brush to ensure
perfect contact with the ground.

Caution!
When fi tting the main brush, follow the assembly direction "B - C".
