The machine described in this manual has been constructed in accordance with the CE Directive on machines no. 2006/42/EC (Machinery Directive).
The person in charge of the machine is responsible for complying with CE directives and local regulations with regard to the working environment to ensure
the health and safety of operatives. Always perform the preliminary checks before starting the sweeper.

Caution!
The machine may only be used by the authorized operator. Avoid the use of the machine by unauthorized persons.
Never carry out modifi cations, transformations or applications on the machine which might impair its safety.
Before switching on and starting up the machine, check that its operation will not put anyone in danger.
Never work in any way which may impair the stability of the machine.
When transporting the machine, make sure that it is fi rmly fi xed to the vehicle by means of an holding belt.
It is obligatory to wear protection gloves and glasses while working in outdoor areas in case of low temperature or with oil topping up, etc.
To lift the machine insert the holding belt under the chassis.

Danger!
Apart from the regulations envisaged, the person in charge of the machine must inform the operators of the rules which follow:
The fi xed or moving housings and safety devices including hood and seat support must always be left in place, correctly secured.
If the housings are removed, or the safety devices either disconnected or short-circuited, for any reason, they must be restored before the ma-
chine is put back into operation.
Only use the machine in technically correct conditions which conform to its intended use.
Compliance with the intended use also requires operation in accordance with the instructions for use and maintenance, and the specifi ed inspec-
tion and maintenance conditions.
Use of the machine to suck up infl ammable and/or toxic liquids and dusts is absolutely forbidden.
Touching the moving parts of the machine is hazardous and absolutely forbidden. If access to these parts is absolutely necessary, fi rst remove
the key from the dashboard.
The machine is not equipped with cabin, therefore it is prohibited to use it in dangerous areas and with toxic fumes and vapours.
The bonnet must only be opened with the motors stopped and the power supply cut off ; for battery- operated machines, remove the start key,
or for cable-operated machines remove the plug from the power socket.
It is forbidden the transport of people further the operator.
Petrol version:
Proceed as follows to push or tow the motor sweeper:
Lowering on position "A" the by-pass lever 1 (on the variable delivery pump).

Attention!
Never push or tow the machine at speeds above 5 km/h or the hydraulic system could be
damaged.
Lifting on position "B" the by-pass lever to re-engage the drive system when ready to
start work again.
Precautions
The motor-sweeper should only be used by
competent and authorised personnel.
Always remove the key and apply brake 9
and locking handle 10 (fi g. 1) when leaving
the motor-sweeper unattended.
Never park the motor-sweeper on a slope.
Perform the following checks before operating the
motor-sweeper:
