Troubleshooting

Two Pumps Not Connected

The error message "Two pumps not connected" appears during an
autorun.
You may encounter this error message if you have selected an action
that requires the dual pump system but only a single pump system
has been detected by the software.

SIPS 10

If you are using the SIPS 10, the requested action cannot be
performed. The settings for the Right pump group (on the SIPS page)
should be set to none.
SIPS 20
If you have a SIPS 20 unit, recall the method and check that the
setting for the second pump is correct on the SIPS page.

Pump Calibration Failed! Switch to Single Pump Operation

The error message "Pump Calibration failed! Switch to single pump
operation" appears during an autorun.
The SIPS 20 system attempts to calibrate the pumps so that each
pump delivers the same volume of solution when running at
maximum pump speed. This message appears when the variation in
the standard and sample pumps is too great and the system cannot
calibrate the standard pump against the sample pump. The autorun
pauses.
74
Check all pump tubes and connections for leaks or blockage and
replace any worn tubing.
Ensure that:
both pump tubes are placed in the same solution during
pump recalibration
the pump bands are fitted correctly
all pump tubes are the correct type, replacing them if
necessary
