Installing the RTN 310
Install a split-mount installation bracket assembly to a pole.
1. Install the main bracket.
Apply rust inhibitor to
the long bolt.
Check whether the
elastomer is fixed.
The arrows
must face up.
2. Mount the auxiliary bracket ① between the
double-headed nuts of the main bracket ②. When
you hear a click, the auxiliary bracket is mounted
correctly.

CAUTION
Install a flexible waveguide.
Ensure that a flexible waveguide has the same polarization
direction as the waveguide cavity of the RTN 310/hybrid
coupler/the antenna. Use a fixing set to secure the flexible
waveguide.
Multiple models of flexible waveguides are available. The
installation method described in this document is for your
reference only. Install a flexible waveguide by following the
installation procedure in the delivered installation guide.
Ensure that the actual twist degree of a flexible waveguide
is less than or equal to the maximum twist degree, and the
actual bending radius of plane E or H is greater than or
equal to the minimum bending radius.

3. Tighten the two double-headed nuts with an
adjustable wrench until the main and auxiliary
brackets are securely fixed to the pole.

Install the RTN 310 on the split-mount installation bracket assembly.
1. Install the RTN 310 ① on a conversion bracket ② and tighten the four captive screws ③ in a diagonal
sequence.
2. Mount the conversion bracket to the main bracket ④. When you hear a click, the conversion bracket is
mounted correctly.
CAUTION
After finishing the installation, hold the RTN 310's
handles with your hands and turn it to check whether
it is installed securely.
Waterproof a flexible waveguide.
1. Wrap one layer of PVC tape around the exposed part of a flexible waveguide or group clip.
2. Wrap three layers of waterproof tape outside the PVC tape.
3. Wrap three layers of PVC tape outside the waterproof tape.
4. Secure the tape by using outdoor binding straps at the positions 1 cm to the wrapping edges.
